Crane Lakes is located in the city of Port Orange in the Greater Daytona Beach Area. Our coastal location means the famous white sandy beaches and the Inner-coastal Waterway this region is famous for are only 5.8 miles away. Also, the cool ocean breezes are with us all summer long. Orlando, and its world famous attractions are only a 52-mile drive to the southwest.

Take I-95 S toward St Augustine
In 90 miles, take exit 256 onto FL-421 W/Taylor Rd.

From Orlando

Take I-4 E North for 50 miles
Take the exit onto I-95 S toward Miami
In 4.5 miles, take exit 256 onto FL-421 W/Taylor Rd.
1.1 miles later, you will arrive at Crane Lakes on the Right.

From Ft. Lauderdale

Take I-95 N toward Daytona Beach for 230 miles

We came to Crane Lakes in 2004 to visit our previous neighbors from California. We immediately fell in love with the retirement community especially the warm and friendly people. There are numerous activities to enjoy and you can be as active or inactive as you want. The clubhouse and amenities (pools, tennis courts, shuffle boards, billiards, etc…) are all outstanding. The beautiful and challenging golf course is in our backyard and the weather here allows us to play almost every day. The Pro Shop and staff are very professional and fabulous. The grounds are beautifully manicured and maintained by a great management team. In a nutshell, Crane Lakes isn’t just a retirement community. It’s a community of friends where neighbors look out for each other. “It’s a place you want to come home to.” We absolutely love living here!
